Against magnanimity

Last night we saw a result consistent with the Thermidor hypothesis, that significant elite defection caused fraud to fall to historically normal levels, allowing Trump to cleanly and obviously win the election. Kamala earned votes in total roughly equal to Obama and Hillary's counts, more than 15,000,000 votes fewer than Biden supposedly received in '20. It was not only that Trump hired a lot of lawyers and poll watchers; he had plenty in '20 as well, was already expecting enormous fraud months in advance together with the rest of us because of the pandemic. This year, the difference is that the threats of lawyers and poll watchers were taken seriously, and could only have been taken seriously because somebody had real force to back up those threats. A friend tells me in private that the GOP ground game, which he is a member of, was suspiciously well-run and effective during this campaign, and everybody involved in positions of importance was former or active-duty military. The military quietly defecting to Trump makes sense. Trump had few allies in the military during his first term; when he cleared the streets of DC during Floydmas, he had to look to the Bureau of Prisons Special Forces to do so, not being able to count on the loyalty of any regular forces. So, I assumed and predicted that Trump would have no help from that quarter. But as I said in the last post, many things have happened since 2020, namely Afghanistan and the Ukraine war. Contrary to the rosy reports put out by think tanks and the brag of dumb buck ****** Lloyd Austin, some in the armed forces must have realized that the US having only enough munitions for two months at best of peer warfare, with very limited ability to make more, is a very, very bad thing, and that the current regime was unwilling and unable to even see the problem, let alone fix it.

The military is heavily involved with SpaceX; indeed Elon Musk represents one of the few, if not the only, military advantage that America still holds. A Musk-military conspiracy in favor of Trump makes sense, and I give Musk himself immense respect for putting all of his chips on the table. He recognized a truly existential threat, and responded to it as an existential threat. Elon wants to go to Mars, and the US Military along with some of the wiser "neocons" want to restore American confidence and industry so that the American Empire continues to stand a chance as world hegemon. Like the retreat of the Roman Empire from Dacia, Thermidor wants to make peace with America's rivals, and enter a period of non-intervention while it rebuilds its industrial might and nurses the will of young men to fight for their country's far-off geopolitical interests. Maybe you want this and maybe you do not- I do not, but I am willing to look coldly at this, because unlike some other critics of the "GAE", I do not live in a crumbling commieblock in the Middle East or the former USSR and I do not subscribe to the Duginist Third-Worldism of "Imagine" plus Ak-47s.

Whether the maintenance of US Imperial power is desirable or not is going to depend on what things look like in 2032. A resurgently right-wing America that engages in empire for its own explicit benefit and the benefit of its soldiers may very well be an Empire worth fighting for. An America that has been minorly revitalized with only certain concessions given to the American or the "trumpist" may not be. The people supporting Trump behind the scenes now are not hardcore rightists and neither is Trump. But they had to hire last decade's liberals in order to put the brakes on the runaway train and will find that they need to hire last century's right wingers to make maximum impact. These serious issues, the de-emancipation of women for one, will have to be addressed later, and will be addressed at some point, because Thermidor will feel nervous about needing to give power to potential Napoleons and will attempt to purge us when it accomplishes its goals. And yet, the power handed to us, and it will be or at least may be, to crush the left and stall its holiness spiral, should be used against Thermidor in a sort of coup, soft or hard.

But for now, we have been given an open door, so what do we do with it? Not only is Musk fluent in our memes, but JD Vance is an actual neoreactionary and likely quiet participant in frogtwitter. He is not just a guy who read Moldbug and is cynically exploiting the energy of the sphere, but actually one of us; I know this and you will have to accept it in good faith, but getting him into Ohio was a major upset and "donation" by Thiel to our sphere. Tapping him for VP was an immensely positive sign that actual reactionaries, the dissident right, or whatever you want to call it, are getting a seat at the table. Oft evil will shall evil mar; the Enemy could have allowed Trump to win in 2020, still shackled to treasonous GOPe snakes and vermin, for a fairly ineffective term, but they are too insane and evil to allow this. Instead, their actions up to and including assassination attempts, broke Trump off from the GOPe and convinced his camp that the entire nest needs to be burned out.

Of course the typical GOP cretins will try to inject "Project 2025" social conservatism into the new administration but this should be heavily guarded against. Your usual Fambly Values grifters are going to try for a seat at the table; look how Fuentes immediately tries to ingratiate himself after spending money campaigning for Kamala and buying anti-Trump billboards. Sohrab Amari and other creatures will follow. The task of the new administration is too large to bother with attempts at imposing moral rectitude on a fundamentally amoral populace. Hand in hand with the single abortion fanatic women are conservative blowjob girls and bikini models and such... we cannot afford to waste our energy on "Augustinian" reform (which was ineffective even under the great Augustus) when the overthrow of the left is the prime task and directive, a Herculean labor.

Simply put, the prime directive of the new administration is that Trump needs to be a reverse FDR, dismantling the vast bureaucratic apparatus that the three-letter man put in place, and there is likely no man better suited to the task than Elon Musk, who not only knows how to run an extremely tight and effective corporation but is an avowed enemy of the regulatory state himself, for it has often forestalled and hindered his attempts to advance space exploration and rocketeering. It is via these executive agencies that the Regime enacts its various outrages and oppressions against Americans, and via these agencies that the Enemy pays and rewards its clients. Dismantling them is tantamount to dismantling the left, removing the arteries through which its power flows. Destroying these agencies and devolving the exercise of executive authority to small teams of our guys is the ideal scenario and what we should most heavily push for; it would completely end the means by which the left "turns out the vote" to commit its usual and typical degree of fraud. The second is of course election security, which must be passed on a federal level. Florida's election reforms immediately swung the state ten points to the right making it reliably red; this is the typical margin of fraud in almost every state. Without the usual fraud, the number of blue states would be very small. Encoding Florida's voting laws into federal law would allow republican victories for a generation at least.

The third of course is mass deportations and remigration; the media will try its best to make this look ugly and play on the sympathies of a fundamentally emotional and fickle electorate. But I explain how to do this properly. Step one is simply to enact and enforce laws against the employment of illegal aliens and bring heavy punitive measures against the companies that hire them. This will go in tandem with heavy if not total cuts of all federal services to illegals. Trump will not have to power to destroy state level welfare programs but a very good start can be made by preventing illegals from accessing all federally funded services. The final part of Step 1 deportation is individual targeting of known criminal aliens. The media will attempt to make sob stories out of rapists, murderers, and drug dealers getting nabbed by special forces, and for every single deportation, the truth will come out until the public is totally desensitized to the media's whining about deportation. Step 2 (these should happen a year at a time) is the withholding of federal funding to states that provide state or local services to illegal aliens, a natural follow-on from withholding federal services. Together with this is the targeted apprehension of suspected rather than known criminal aliens and their associates. Bukele provides a model for this sort of cleanup, very easy to do. At this point dismantling the gangs and sending the "bad hombres" home packed into cattle cars will prompt no possible escalation of tone from the media; the trick is to get them escalate the tone of hysteria to 10 on irreproachable deportations and then "boil the frog" from there. At this point self-deportation will be in full swing. Stage 3 finally comes around to illegal immigrants with minor children who are anchor babies. Now you can deport the families together; even without revoking birthright citizenship, the child can be deported along with the parents, for the parents have legal custody of the child and for the "citizen" child it represents something like a vacation until they turn 18. Those children will be free to return to the US as citizens when they are adults, but few likely will. This is of course just a very bare outline to the policy but it is the right way to go about things. One could of course just deploy the NG and march hordes of millions of aliens over the Mexican border at gunpoint in the same way the Soviets depopulated Poland and the Balkans of German immigrants after WWII, but I doubt that even the pro-Trump electorate has a stomach for this explicit ethnic cleansing.

Finally, we have restoring industry and the march of technology, which requires at the very minimum breaking Griggs v Duke and disparate impact. This topic is worth a very long post, but not only does a company need to be able to hire talent, it needs to devolve hire/fire power to the people personally responsible for productivity, removing HR from the equation entirely. There are two plants that can manufacture shells in the US because there are two men who know how to manufacture shells in the US, and they each work in one of those plants. Reconciling spec and reality requires a talent that can only be called a master craftsman, and said master craftsman needs to be not only identified, paid very well, and honored, but he needs to be given hire/fire power over what are effectively his apprentices. Some of the advantage that the Japanese car industry has is that it recognizes this sort of man and ensures that he is well provided for, and it is why a car the final assembly of which is done in Japan will be more reliable than a Japanese brand assembled in the US, where HR has hire/fire power and does not want lowly factory workers of any skill paid higher than HR. Europe has its own problems of socialism in industrial production, but the strangulation of apprenticeship by HR is not one of them. Ford's cars, when made in Germany for the domestic European market, have a sterling reputation for reliability, the complete opposite of those produced in the US and Mexico. The slow weaning off of Chinese imports and a tariff regime I will not get into here, but there is a titanic amount of untapped potential for American industry currently withering under the regulatory state.

If these paradigm shifts can be accomplished, the enduring transition into the Spenglerian civilizational state is a possibility. The last time a man truly stood for this civilization-ideal, culturally stagnant maybe like the Roman empire but vital and enduring enough, was perhaps Rhodes, and maybe Hitler; but regardless, the moralism of the past hundred years has been towards various flavors of fellaheenism and it is that explicit role that the Left will be forced to resort to and the traitors within our own camp will be pushed to; the global favela, degrowth, international communism, a single mystery meat race, "equity", whatever pretty or "high-tech" faces they wish to put on this will be demonstrably made lies by the continued march toward space colonization and nuclear power that our new regime would stand for. The simple response to the left's whining about abortion, gay rights, trannies, the plight of browns and women, is a simple "I don't care". The positive vision is for technological progress, strength, prosperity, and peace. It is truly a blessing that in the hands of Musk we have X, which in the new regime can completely circumvent traditional media, and via which we can present policy to the Trump regime and pressure it to keep its promises. But this is going to be a hard fight; the Left knows that Trump and Musk are willing and able to destroy it. They missed him. Everybody knows what time it is; time for an existential conflict in which weapons you might not even expect are going to be deployed, and it is likely that Thermidor will lean harder and harder on the hardcore right as these battles in the institutions are played out. What we have won is the opportunity to fight, and if we slacken or rest on our laurels, we will fail and likely die. If we get lost in the weeds of “moderate, reasonable policy goals,” we will lose and die. This was the last chance, the last election. The Left needs to be dismantled so thoroughly that it cannot win for a generation, at the bare minimum.
